Hi, I’m Amanda — the founder of Bluebird Play and a big believer in the magic of childhood.
Bluebird started as a daydream I couldn’t shake: What if there were a space that combined the quiet joy of a bookstore with the energy and creativity of a play space?
A place where kids could explore, parents could breathe, and stories lived in the little everyday moments. That little idea kept growing and growing… and eventually, it became this space.
As a parent myself, I know how important (and sometimes hard!) it is to find places that feel both enriching and welcoming. I wanted to create a spot where families could come as they are — whether you’re stopping by for a quick book pickup, staying for a play session, or just looking for a cozy corner to be together.
My background is in children’s theater, and I’ve always been drawn to the ways stories shape us, especially when we’re young. Bluebird Play is a reflection of that — a space built with love, curiosity, and a whole lot of imagination.
Thanks for being here. I truly hope Bluebird becomes part of your family’s rhythm — a place where you feel seen, inspired, and at home.
With warmth,
Amanda Klein
P.S. If you’ve spent time with us and want to share the love, I’d be grateful for a quick review on Google or Yelp. It really helps other families find us!
