Welcome! To keep Bluebird Play magical, safe, and welcoming for everyone, we ask that all guests follow the guidelines below. These rules help us care for our space—and each other.
👣 Feet First – Always
- No shoes or bare feet are allowed on the play floor to keep it clean and safe for little explorers.
- Grip socks are required for children and strongly recommended adults while in the play space. Adults are required to wear socks. You’re welcome to bring your own or grab a pair of Bluebird socks at the front desk for $5.
🐣 Mother Goose’s Glen
- This soft, cozy corner is just for crawlers and new walkers.
- Reserved for children under age 2 to ensure a safe experience for our littlest guests.
- Please help us keep it calm, gentle, and tumble-free for our tiniest visitors.
🍎 Snacks + Sips
- For everyone’s safety (and to avoid mischievous fairy pranks), no food or drink is allowed on the play floor.
- Snacks may be enjoyed in our lobby area or on the outdoor patio.
- If your child has allergies or specific needs, please check in with our team—we’re happy to help.
🧚♂️ Gentle Play + Grownup Eyes
- No flying, leaping, or launching from the structures—even if you have wings.
- Children must be actively supervised by their grownups at all times.
- Bluebird staff are here to help, but we are not a drop-off facility.
- Please help your child use equipment safely and appropriately.
🛠️ Clean & Healthy
- Sick kiddos (and grownups) should stay home until they’re feeling better.
- Wash or sanitize hands before entering the play space. We’ve got sanitizer at the door!
- Diaper changes should be done in the restroom only.
- Keep toys and play props in their intended areas so everyone can enjoy them safely.
🎒 Bags, Belongings & Bare Necessities
- Please store shoes, bags, and strollers in the designated areas.
- Leave valuables at home—we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Costumes, capes, and tails are encouraged—but keep accessories safe and snag-free.
💬 Kindness & Community
- Bluebird Play is a welcoming and inclusive space for all families.
- Please use kind language and model gentle behavior—grownups included.
- If you or your child need help navigating a tricky social moment, our staff is happy to assist.
📸 Photos & Privacy
- We love seeing your joyful moments—feel free to take photos of your own kids!
- Please be mindful and avoid photographing other families without permission.
- Occasionally, we take photos for Bluebird Play’s social media or promotions. If you’d prefer not to be included, let us know at check-in.
